And the piano series continues with Consolation:

I’ve started on some bigger works, but between my restless mind and the high level of humidity in the house (and thus the eternal wait for layers to dry), I’m throwing in musical sketches between the real projects.

It’s nice when things splash out of the paintbrush correctly… the sentiments behind the splatters and all of the depressing music that inspired the tin of black ink to be opened, not so fun tonight.  But, at least there’s an artistic outlet for all of this melancholy, right?
