Color Me Majestically

Here are a couple of commission pieces done for a friend:

Kiss In Red

Russian Princess In Blue

The blue piece was the commission, the red one was a birthday surprise.  Inspiration came from the style of another piece that this friend also purchased:

Two Steps Away

So, there you go, a trio of watercolor splatters and ink scribbles.

Other than art, life’s been busy with an eventful week at the theatre:  Leonard Cohen, Regina Spektor, and Glen Hansard/Eddie Vedder have all put on shows in the last few days that absolutely blew me away.  Once I figure out how to adequately describe their spectacles on paper (on computer?), I might put up some rambles about that.  Or, use the couple of hours not spent at work to take a nap instead.  We’ll see.  Either way, good music= art inspiration.

Speaking of which, Canvas Nine is complete!  Go check it out.
